* The Proficiency Sample Provider (APG) claims that 9 out of 10 laboratories from a specific geographical area reported results for Chloromethane, although the sample was not spiked with this compound.  APG is evaluating whether or not the samples received through a common shipping point might have been mishandled, as well as investigating the effect of high temperature storage on the sample.  Laboratories involved will be notified of the findings.

** Analyzed within the acceptable range, but results were transposed incorrectly to the new APG reporting form.
